Dear Parents,

Welcome to our first Piasau Post of the new school year.
First of all a warm welcome to all our new starters and their families. It is a real credit to all concerned as to how quickly so many children settled down to their learning.
We also welcome Miss Alex who will be teaching the P7 children. We all hope that she has a great time here.

Meet The Teachers – Tuesday 11th September
If you would like to meet you child’s teacher there will be an opportunity to do so next week.
You are invited to come into school (note; not the Boat Club as has been the case in the last seven years) to find out a little more about the class. The teachers will start two identical sessions in their classrooms at 6.00 pm and then again at 6.30 pm. Each session will last about 15 minutes. We have organised it in such a way so that parents can attend two different classes. There is no need to sign-up; just turn-up.

New To The IPC – Tuesday 18th September
If the International Primary Curriculum is new to you there will be a talk about the curriculum on Tuesday 18th September starting at 7.00pm. This meeting will last about one hour. If you would like to attend the meeting please complete the reply slip below and return it to Linda before the 11th September.

Attached to the Piasau Post you should have a copy of an outline of the school year. It is always possible that there will be minor changes to this planner.

Please be very safety aware when dropping off and collecting your children around the school gates. Cyclists now must dismount from their bikes when they reach the newly painted yellow pathway. Please support us with this.  Don’t forget that if you are driving your children to school there is the option of dropping them off by the front steps.

We are all looking forward to a great term and we aim to add to the amazing successes we achieved last year.
