Dutch Speakers only
Dutch language and Culture Options
Your Dutch
language-speaking children may have a choice as whether or not to follow the
school’s Dutch language programme. You may wish to talk to Miss Els, the Dutch
teacher, before you make your decision. The Dutch language course work begins
in Primary 2.
If your child is relatively new to the English language the options will be delayed for a period of a term or more to support the child’s learning of the English language. After consulting you, the school will make the decision on when is the best time for your child to start with the your selected Dutch programme.
The options
are;
