Each year primary 7 pupils take the English SAT (Standard Assessment Tests) in both English Language and mathematics.
The results are graded into 5 basic levels ; level 1 through to level 5.
The primary 7 pupils are deemed to have reached the required standards (English schools in England) if they reach level four or above.
2007 was the fourth consecutive year that the pupils at Piasau School all reached the required levels. This is quite a remarkable accomplishment.
The UK’s national results have an average of 72% of pupils reaching level 4 or above.
In 2007 twenty three pupils took part in the SATS.
Their results are a credit to themselves and the school.
